Hi Alan, they're very nice indeed, but a hell of a price. There's another for horizontal fitting, still no level view though. Martin.

I too have been looking into header tanks. I've seen the various postings on the subject but wanted something that would look mildly authentic. I am planning a vertical version similar to this but have contacted the supplier to see if I can have a custom bracket and a special fitting welded into the bottom to take a low level warning switch I've harvested from a volvo 850 header tank. I was given a price of £100. I will be turning the fitting from ally bar. If anyone is interested I'll post pictures when it is nearer completion, but the bracket will ensure that it fits nicely - I was planning to put on the rear of the the passenger suspension strut tower. The bottle will be about 10cm diameter and will have a 20mm outlet at the bottom, 10mm air return and an 8mm escape pipe.
