Seller has obscured registration and commission numbers beyond LD1...... Only visible info is colour (19) and trim (11).
I have had a message exchange with the seller (Fred) and he admits to being a Stag owner for 30 years, having a restored Stag, and having dismantled the car some time ago. He has offered to sell me the ID tag, V5 and the "remaining 60% of the car". In his view the ID tag and V5 are "ideal for someone doing a restoration", despite transferring an ID to another car being illegal.
The more people who report it, the better.Dave

Do you have any proof that it illegal to restore a Stag body shell and put a used chassis plate on it. ??? I believe you can buy complete bodies for several car types new and "restore" your car that way. Please tell me what the difference is when its a Stag....Comment
