White Stag in recent BBC TV show

Just finished watching a very well produced BBC 3 part mini series starring Hugh Grant who plays real life politician Jeremy Thorpe. Its an extraodinary true story and not sure if Jeremy Thorpe had one in real life but Hugh Grant drives a very nice white Stag in the show.
The show is called 'A Very English Scandal'. Worth watching!

I think you'll find the Hugh Grant ( one of his best performances, very good) mini series was marketed as " based upon a true story" not as being the absolute truth. There was a documentary about the affair following it which had much more grit which actually featured some of the participants Norman Scott for example.
