My son is off on a four day school trip to Paris today.

Coach left at 8.30 and he sent a text about an hour ago saying Chunnel is shut and now going to try and get a ferry:shock:

Wouldn't surprise me if they give up and come home.

Photo taken this morning. This is the road I normally take the shots above the channel tunnel. We had 9 inches in town plus 13 inches on the hill

That explained why the fast train from Ashford, to Bromley to Victoria was cancelled this morning.

But if this happened in the SE, why hasn't it been on national news with hints of a natural disaster?

Bad weather only hits the national news in the UK if it affects London and the SE........:P
