    rear seat belt inertia reels

The nearside rear inertia reel has always been a bit 'sticky', the belt needs to be pulled out reeeeaaaalllyyy carefully to avoid locking so yesterday I took it off, rotated the arrows on the adjusters while holding the reelat the correct angle (like it should be in the car) so that it ran more freely. Of course when I tightened it up in position on the wheel arch it locked again!

Looking at photos on various threads it seems like some have the big arrow pointing across the car and some have it pointing forwards, I've got it pointing forwards and the little arrow pointing up. So can anyone remember the set up that they have?

    Thanks, John.

Thanks Ian, they did. Also once I gotthe beltmoving a bit and took it out to maximum extension (fully unrolled) and then retracted again it was a lot freer.
