My car suffered with a collapsed rubber feed to the fuel pump whilst we were in the Isle Of Man I just trimmed of the gooey end and reaffixed...I would guess due to modern fuels..any way the car has always had a pong of fuel in the Boot area..clearly I need to replace the pipes to the pump, but on inspection I see that the vent pipe (thin see-through Plastic..a little like windscreen washer pipe comes out of the filler nicely into a bracket whereupon it goes into a filter towards the top ..I'm assummg that the there ought to be a pipe from the filter to the outside? Could anybody tell me where it goes from the filter and via which orifice to the outside world.
Much appreciated
