    Exhaust blow?

Working on a friends Stag at the moment and have come across what seems to be an exhaust leak, film clip below. I am presuming it from the manifold but I wasn't expecting this noise, instead a clicking or tapping noise when that cylinder fires. Sounds like vacuum at the end of tube rather than a blow. Being there are no gaskets on the manifold, is it worth trying tighten the bolts or do I have to remove the who manifold?

    Andrew,

Gaskets never fitted to Stag but were to the TR's. When I rebuilt my engine I could see from the carbon marks on the face of the manifold that mine leaked so I fitted a set.

I’d always use gaskets, and on tubular you can’t afford not too..
