I haven't had time to read all the tread on the other BW35 question, so asking a direct new question. On my Stag it connects to the transmission and then hangs down by the exhaust pipe. ( An inverteded U ) Is this the normal route?
On a RHD model from the transmission it comes up the bulkhead (firewall) across the top under the scuttle panel into the O/S inner wing, possibly the opposite on a LHD
Sujit.
The rubber hose connected to the gearbox should be loosely strapped all the way up the dipstick tube. It then goes across the bulkhead, over the top of the brake servo, and terminates after passing through the nearby aperture in the inner wing.. Not very sophisticated!
Mike.
Silly follow up question, on the odd occasion when my BW35 dumps transmission fluid, where does the fluid come out from? I thought all t his time, it comes out of the breather hose. I dont want fluid coming out of the breather hole if the end of the pipe is sitting between outer and inner wing.
