On the last legs of a touring holiday we stayed in Limpley Stokes where, in a garage car park, I spied a clean, black painted Stag in fair order, minus drivers seat, which must rank as a neat theft deterrent. No one was about to find out who owned it.
On passing the next morning the Stags previous semi modern neighbour had been replaced with a nice red TR4, but yet again no one about to talk to.
That evening, no red TR4 but a nice green TR6 sitting with its hood down, but this time the garage owner was about.
All are customers cars, the 4 & 6 roadworthy and regularly used, the Stag, original throughout apparently, in good order with minor grumbles to sort to become MOT compliant, albeit the car is exempt eligible.
it was nice to see all those marques in one place, with a garage owner with some interest.
