Hi there,
Mine's just like Chris's (vmad), and I ended up taking out the clocks, and painted inside the rim where the clocks fit in a similar colour to the veneer.
I too bought a "second" quality off E bay for £59.00 all in, and you have difficulty telling the difference - maybe I was just lucky.
You obviously have to take off the choke knob etc, and as mine was not the detachable type, I took all the centre console pieces off as well and did it properly. The fit was perfect.
One of the best value items I have added to the Stag, and it looks stunning.!!

I really like the look of the dash and the steering wheel. Is your steering wheel a Moto Lita and what shade of veneer did you use ?.

I have already re-veneered the dash wood on my restoration project in American Walnut but am slowly gathering another set of wood so that next winter I can refinish it in this product.

Do you know if they make it for a LHD Stag. If anyone has a nice,reasonably priced Moto Lita wheel drop me a line.
