I'mm trying to source a power steering belt here in the US. Have been told a belt with circumference of 1120 mm will work. However, i don't know if this is outside or inside circumference. To add to the confusion, on LDParts website it says the following:
It is specified as a 10mm wide belt with a 1110 to 1113 mm outer circumference.
The belt we supply is the right size and has the correct V section meaning it adjusts correctly, grips the pulley properly, both optimising performance and minimising wear.
Some belts on the market are as little as 1090 which is too tight, and the last QH belt we measured was 1114 too long.
Avoid getting grease or oil on a drive belt as this will cause a jerky action.
I haven't contacted Peter, but I can't imaging there being a difference between 1113 which is OK, but 1114 being too long.
Does anyone know the min and max circumference that will work? Or better still have a part no. I can search?
