1975 Stag History Request

I just took ownership of this cracking car as my first Stag. I am trying to research the history of the car as it has 11 previous owners and been in storage for the last 10yr prior to being carefully restored. Its only outings were for annual MOT, covering around 1000 miles in this period. On a HPI check it shows a colour change, it was a 1976 build and first registered in the UK in 1979, Any feedback would be most welcome Reg VJG 411T

It was rumoured that the service was being dis-continued but I believe it's still available. You need patience, it took about 6 months for me to get the information about my stag but it was well worth it.

The service is still available BUT you must have a valid reason for requesting the information. Just wanting a list of previous owners for the "history file" is not a good enough reason and the request will be rejected. I believe the change came in as part of the recent changes to the GDPR (Data Protection Act). New V5Cs (log books) no longer show the name and address of the previous keeper/owner, just a GDPR statement.
