Stag Overhaul Specialists

Hi,
I rebuilt my stag in 1994 with the aid of Bill Tudor in Bolton. I'm based in Bramhall, Cheshire (South Manchester) and my Stag is due for a good overhaul.
Can anyone recommend a really good specialist that can help me with a general review and update? I'm looking at electrics, some trim issues, bodywork tidy up, but not re-spray and running gear etc. To some degree I'm going to need to trust the specialist to do what's best, I'm too busy to get really involved.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, ideally I'd keep it local but accept some travel will be required.

Wards seem to come well recommended. Will be dropping mine off with them soon for an electric water pump to be fitted.

No one really in the North West of England, probably the the nearest one in the SOC magazine is Yorkshire Triumphs in Doncaster, don't have any experience of them, perhaps someone on here has used them and can comment.

Re Yorkshire Triumphs reference above, I have used them a couple of times, once soon after I bought my Stag for a service and panel repair, and again about two years ago to fit a new soft-top and refurbished frame. Peter is very knowledge and a Stag enthusiast and on both occasions the work standard was good. I don't use them regularly because I have a local mechanic who, whilst not a Stag specialist, is so good with all varieties of classics that I personally prefer his wider knowledge to the specialist approach. He actually builds his own classics from the ground up. I generally source parts, he fits them and makes things work, plus he advises on what needs doing, importantly on what doesn't need doing, and is just generally extremely knowledgeable.
