i have a 1997 stag which I am restoring. would if possible someone could advise me what goes on the brakets on the chassis between the radiiator and lower balance

I think you are referring to parts 714575 & 714576 which are mounting brackets for the a/c condenser, where fitted.

HI Do you mean 1977 car. I think the panel you are looking for is called lower radiator support. see attached.

Thanks for info they are air con brackets got the R on the wrong place hence the year will try harder this term.
