I know this is an old 2018 post, but it is the only one I could find that may help me. I, too, own a 73 Stag fitted with the ZF 4HP22 and am trying to find what the MALE Thread size is that allows the Speedo cable to be attached to the ZF unit?? I have tried RUSSELL LEWIS, but he does not have that info!!. The schematic diagram you kindly posted a few years ago also does not list it. I am hoping that somewhere you can find the information for me as I require a new speedo cable to fit my ZF unit??
