Easy way to remove exhaust pipe from the back.

The last time I removed the rear end, the only way I could get the exhaust sections which go through the subframe out was to remove the exhaust from the front.
Is there an easy way to remove the end of the exhaust pipe without ruining it from the back?

    No.

mine have been off several times and bear the scars of a 4lb lump hammer.

other owners may have a different opinion.

replace the exhaust clamps ,with T - bar clamps they don't cruch the pipe as much which makes it easier to take apart in the future

I take mine off from the back. I use a pair of grips to flatten the pegs to slide off the tailpipes, and after refitting just bend back.

I found removing and reinstalling the exhaust system harder than putting the engine back in
no easy way sorry to say

When I was at the stage of going through the car which has a stainless steel exhaust but had been fitted with the type of clamps that crush the pipe I made a set of swages to make the pipe round again both internally and externally. Once I was happy with the fit up I used the exhaust sealer and new clamps from LD Parts that do not crush the pipe. I have since had to remove the said pipes and using a hammer to tap and loosen up the exhaust they came apart very easy. Might have been a bit picky going together but coming apart it made it very easy.

Mikalor exhaust clamps are among the best. BTW, I’ve never used exhaust sealant. Copper Grease does the job and the pipes come apart again easily if required.
