Have you left the indicators as standard?

For now, yes. Not sure if they will work if just replacing the bulbs, without other alterations. I already have an electronic flasher unit (LDParts GFU2505EL), but the previous LED flasher bulbs I bought a few years ago make it flash too quickly, even when only fitted to the rear. Later bulbs may be OK but I haven’t had confirmation about that yet.

I fitted LED orange bulbs about ten years ago, when I bought a set of 'Italian' front indicator lenses from The Brothers (smoked grey rather than orange). I had to fit resistors from each bulb supply line, to earth. This stopped the rapid rate of the flasher unit, by giving it a resistance akin to the filament. I'm sure there may be a better or more elegant solution available today.

I’ve contacted Duncan at Classic Car LEDs about this and he advises that the LD Parts flasher unit is the same as the one they sell, so it should work with their current (no pun intended) LED flasher bulbs.

Could you clarify what you mean? The email from Classic Car LEDs states:

That flasher is similar to ours so should work well.

                Best wishes

I used this info, successfully with Classic Car LEDs but only installed one rear fog light in the reversing light so the brake light was more obvious. It all works well.

I too went to classiccarleds and went for a complete LED set including headlights and brake/reverse bulbs. Love them all! Not replaced hazard flasher yet but they work as before.

Just a quick point that doesn't appear to have been made (apologies if it has & I have missed it), you must fit red LED bulbs in stop/tail lights not white. White bulbs will make the lights pink & will probably be illegal. The same will apply to indicator bulbs.

I have fitted LED stop/tails to mine from bettercarlighting.co.uk & they are a massive improvement. They do a few specific kits for Stags - dashboard lights (various colours) & indicators to name two that spring to mind.
