    Revotec Fan Wont switch on....

Now then before I fitted my brand new viscous fan my Revotec would come on and off like a good un..( I have both fans fitted)Now then since I have fitted my new viscous fan I cant encourage it to rotate at all, I'm now wondering if its died..Is there any way I can check..no matter how low down I turn the thermostat it does not come on. Mind you The Car temp gauge rarely goes above 1/3 since fitting the new viscous and it was generally at 2/3 before?
    many thanks

Can you check the supply fuse? Check that there is about 12V getting ti the fan terminals?
If this has happened after you've been into the engine bay, I'd suspect a connection dislodged somewhere.

Also check the accuracy of the temp gauge or use an infar-red digital temp reader. At 1/3rd I would suggest it is running too cold. Check the thermostat is switching with a test lamp.
