Short update:
I'd ordered up the NKC105A and NKC106 seals a while back now, but they only had a Handley Page Heracles fuelled up for the air mail, so the parts only arrived today. In addition to the NKC seals I saw there was a copper washer 538532 so I ordered that too.
I've just taken off the angle drive and it was literally dripping with oil. The NKC seals seem to be doing their job as I replace them duriung the overhaul and the drive spindle which sticks out was dry. However, there was no copper washer fitted (looks like a made a boo boo) so, although I can't work out what it's supposed to seal, I'm crossing fingers that its absence was the cause of the oil leak.
The angle drive has a small screw fitted and I'm gussing that it's either to keep the drive wheel in place inside the angle drive or, more likely, to fill the angle-drive with grease (which is what I've now done).
All going back in now and curious to see if the leak's gone. Speedo was a bit jumpy and the angle drive was notchy but now it's got grease in it seems quite smooth. Will see if the speedo is steadier now, but have ordered up a new angle drive from ANG in case mine goes pear-shaped. Fortunately the access with the car on ramps is not so bad.
