Hi All
I am about to start re-building several Stag engines that I have had for many years. If I dont do it soon they will never get done..
I want to clean all the parts including heads and pistons so that they come up as new.In the past I have had parts sandblasted but it is messy and I was looking to invest in a hobby ultrasonic cleaner to do the job.
I tried a very small unit with a piston in it(only just big enough)it wasnt heated and I used water and vinegar as the cleaning agent.
It was next to useless..
Does anyone have any experience of a larger heated machine,or is it back to blasting..Vapour blast machines are too expensive for my use..
Any ideas as Im going round and round in circles..
Thanks
Sam
