Hello, does anyone know if SOC Spares are still trading? I've been trying to phone them on and off for the past few weeks, different days, different times, but they never answer the phone. The help line numberalso seems to be disconnected.

Sorry I can't help, had the same problem, but when I did get through spoke to a old boy that new nothing about Stags, but if I was to ring back there might be someone else to help, couldn't get through so went some where else.
Yes, contacting SOC Spares has always been a "pain". Mostly when I get through, the line is engaged, and as you say, ringing at different times makes little difference.
SOC Spares were one of the really early Stag parts Specialists and I have ALWAYS tried to get my parts from them before I go to one of the big suppliers. Their telephone system lets them down.
WhenI DO get through, I find them courteous, helpful and very fast on getting stuff to me, I have also been grateful on more than one occasion for technical guidance from Stuart.
I do hope that I can continue to buy from them in the future
I triedsoc spares for clutch parts,First rang the week before christmas called many times no answer. spoke to Mike Allen he told me they had closed forchristmas. So i thought fair enough and rang back on the 4/01/10 no answer again many times. Rang Mike Allen again and he told me Stuart Souter was now sick. tried again many times a few days later still no answer. So gave up and went elsewhere. this put me 3 weeks behind. They must have a full stock room as nobody can seem to place an order. WHY ?
Stuart does disapear for a few weeks from time to time but will hopefully be back to work and fighting fit soon. I dont hold any hope about the new clutch nose project though
Glad to hear it Nick. Lifes prety good here thanks but I am a bit more RV8 than TV8 at the moment, although on the other side my forum handles are TV8!!
will do nick. The trevor is going in tommorow for a brake up-grade. I was going to have a big old 4 pot up-grade but it was a lot of dosh. I have to say I love it.
Hope that it is a temporary suspension of service. I've always tried to buy from them in the past, and found them helpful, and the parts came out fairly quickly.
Even if they could leave some sort of answerphone message it might help. I've been trying for nigh on four weeks now and been getting nowhere. Have to go elsewhere now.
