Delete posts

Hi
Could someone explain how to delete posts? I have tried and after being given the 'soft delete' option only (even though I'd like to permanently delete a post). I'm then told that I'm not authorised to view the post.

Hi Jon,

It should be easy enough to delete a post, tick the post you want to delete and choose the drop-down icon (the little square top right) and select 'delete posts'. After that you should get an option to either soft delete or hard delete the post, and perhaps choose whether there should be a time frame for how long a soft deleted post can be recovered.

These options work a bit differently with mod access so perhaps it works a little different for you, but this should be the gist of it anyway.

I can also delete a post for you if you want?

At the bottom of your post press the edit button, this should open and give you the option to delete your post
