    Fitting an A post seal

I am getting towards the end of my rebuild and wanting to fit the A-Post seals p. no. 630755. It is obvious where they run on the A-post but I cannot remember the route they take below that. If anyone has any photos I would appreciate it. Also would like to know how long they should be as mine seem excessively long.

top of the A post to the bottom under the A post gutter. 813023/4 Use a sealant (tigerseal type) or it will leak. A job I need to do as well

I have a picture of the top end showing how the flat section fits between the Furflex seal and the windscreen frame (A-pillar). Just run it as far down the frame as it needs to be to be effective. They do usually supply plenty. decent double-sided sticky tape is what you need to attach it to the windscreen frame.

Thanks for the answers folks. Double sided tape sounds the least messy.

Its what I used to put mine on recently, having realised that for the last 25 years I've not had that seal fitted!
