Worrying! Is anything being done to get another batch made? SOC Spares appear to be the only ones stocking them at present and they warn that there are very low on stock. Mine (bought from LD Parts) have been on for 10 years and, although not showing signs of deterioration, replacing them is on my list of jobs to do.....

1974 Mk2, ZF Auto, 3.45 Diff, Datsun Driveshafts. Stag owner/maintainer since 1989.
I think the fact that mine have been on over 10 years (37,000 miles) with no sign of deterioration is testament to the quality of the SOCTFL sponsored OE type hoses. Im not sure that silicon hoses have been around long enough to determine their longevity, but I may be wrong......

Dave, I went over to silicone when I first got my,Stag. Over 12 years on now so yes they have been around quite a while.
Can't do that.....I'm a Stag owner on a budget...Because I own a Stag.....if you get what I mean
You can buy them individually and replace one at a time.
SOCTFL is aware of the issue - there isn't anything for us to do at the moment though, we believe it's a matter of supply line logistics rather than no capability to produce them. I blame Brexit (that's a joke by the way).

Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

Paul,
I have been informed this morning by a well-known, reliable supplier, that the manufacturer gave up the business in 2018 and finding an alternative will take some time. At least 6 months is his estimate. He can supply individually, but no longer has stock of the long heater hose or bottom radiator hose. I have ordered one of the few remaining sets from SOC Spares.
I suggest this is something that needs urgent attention.......

yes I popped into a major supplier today and they told me that a fella that makes them for the suppliers has stopped making them because it is to much of a pain in the arse doing it
They have approached another manufacture in the midlands but it depends on whether there is enough demand to make if viable
they have them in silicone but at £150 a set I cant afford that
I have ordered a set from the brothers but they are on back order... .expected in around Feb 15 ish, we shall see if they materialise

BTW I tried to order a set straight away from SOC but they haven't got any either
OK I've just spoke to Gordon at Rimmers and he said that they are short of 2 hoses in the kit, they have 100 of one of them on order and 50 of the other......and that they can get them made by a different manufacturer if one stops making them
lets wait n see
