    Aldi Battery trickle charger

Aldi has it's battery trickle chargers back in stock. 3 Years warranty for £12.99.

If you don't like Aldi keep a watch in Lidle, these two stores are always battling and when one brings out their special offer the other often follows within some weeks. I've got a couple of each, left one in the caravan just in case.

They have some good stuff in Aldi. Last week I bought a cordless drill/screwdriver for £29.99. It came with two batteries and has excellent reviews. Seems like a decent bit of kit for the money.

Their units are good, unlikely to need the 3 year warranty, I checked when buying my first one they were made by Medion, a decent quality German manufacturer. I have one on the Stag (since it went into the Carcoon in November, coming out end of March) and another on the caravan batteries. Connect and forget until the item required is needed, the batteries are kept in prime condition for the cost of pence.

From what I've heard, these Aldi units have a similar charge profile to the Ctek chargers, but only 25% of the cost. Bulk charge mode changing automatically to float (maintenance) charge. I'd get one, but already have a Ctek.

I bought the equivalent from Lidl about 3 years ago. They do exactly as claimed and still working today.

Thanks for the tip, got one today; it looks a good bit of kit for £12.99.
