R & R alloys

Quite a few people seem to have these now in various sizes - can I ask, do they last well?
Having had a set of Minators for 10 years without a single mark or chip and real Miniltes for a year equally reliable I just wonder at the R&R's as they are quite a lot cheaper it seems....

I think I read somewhere the polished laquered ones only have a 3 month cosmetic warranty.........
Mine did about 4 years before they got tatty and needed the laquer stripping off and the alloy polishing, but my Minators only did about 6 years before they were equally bad. Due to the amount of loose gravell on the roads round here everything gets chipped and battered in no time.

My Minators (Black with polished rim) are 9 years old and nigh on perfect (apart from where I caught them with the air line nozzle)

After a lot of consideration and loss of sleep I've decided to keep the current Miniltes - They are such good wheels and having seen another chaps sapphire blue Stag with the same wheels on who lives in Queensland I realised I was making a big mistake selling them!

So I owe a huge apology to Phil (really sorry Phil) for changing my mind, I hope you will still speak to me at the club nights!
