Door handle bowls SOCTFL

I understand that SOCTFL are in the process on arranging remanufactured of the door handle bowls. Does anyone know when they might be available?

Paul. SOCTFL is indeed the process of getting new door handle bowls made.The project is progressing well, and the prototypes have been passed as fit for the job. An order has been placed for a batch of left and right handed ones, and we are in the queue with the chrome plating company. There is no exact date for them to become available at present, but it should only be a month or two.

I saw the prototype at the Classic Car show in Birmingham last month. Very impressed.

They have been made to fit MK1 or Mk2 and, as Mike says, they are in production and waiting on plating. We saw the finished production piece last night and they are very nice. Final build up testing and we’ll be getting g them out to the market. We plan to offer a substantial discount to members to recognise the investment of your money in the project..

Yes. Automotive grade ABS

We haven’t got a commercial partner confirmed for them yet but rest assured once we have, I will make sure that everyone gets to know how and where to get them from.

In answer to your nag, production samples of the finished item were circulated at the SOCTFL meeting last week. You will have to be patient a little longer while the marketing arrangements are finalised.
Try taking some Valium.
