Speedometer Repair

Can anyone recommend someone to repair my trip counter on the speedometer please? An idea of a cost would be useful.

I had my speedometer refurbished by the gauge shop. I When I went over to a zf4 hp22 not a shop brought one i had Ian at monarch stags build a stepper motor to run the speedometer .I had lots of issues with the stepper motor. I had cause to send the whole lot to Ian. He phoned me to tell me that my speedometer was the smoothest most accurate one that he had seen.
a big yes to the gauge shop. I now run a fully electronic speedometer.

I avoid #####, acknowledged receipt of a gauge for repair from me in July 2017 then never able to contact him again despite repeated efforts to contact by email and telephone on a monthly basis for several months thereafter, my gauge was never returned as of todays date..

Alan, just to reiterate, the Mod team is only here to try and ensure the current Forum rules are adhered to, we don’t willy nilly edit posts just because we personally may or may not agree with what is said.

However, if you find some rules needing to be changed, or interpreted differently, then all you need to do is put that change request in writing to the Committee and they will consider it. Alternatively, contact our new Committee Liaison to see if you can get the rules changed that way.

So, if anyone doesn’t like a rule, or the interpretation of a rule, just try and get it changed, the process is there for everyone to use.
