Hot Start Problem

Hi All,

I'm having the dreaded hot start problem with my Stag on standard Stroms.

Starts no problem when cold.

Starts no problem when hot if restart withing 5-10 mins.

Problem in starting if car left for for more than 15min, even up to 1 hour or so.

I know this is a known issue with some Stags, but my question is, is there a well known cause of this problem that I can focus my efforts on?

Carbs are rebuilt, set correctly and timing is spot on plus new fuel pump.

If suggestion is fuel vaporisation, then why do other Stags not suffer this?

Removing the viscous fan can cause this.

there is a whole lot of stuff on this topic. I am yet to go through it too. but if u compile something please share
