    You want to be careful with this surfing lark, Darren. There is always the risk of injury from hitting a scrap V8 being used as a boat anchor

    (Notice I didn't specify which V8. Can't upset anyone that way )

        without starting the whole T or R V8 thing off again (I dont care!) a RV8 can show its exhaust to some expensive toys.The AJP is in another league still!

          Having not been a Stag owner for long, I get a bit confused with the different engine lark.

          I do however know that I have the original Stag engine in my car. So my question is what heading do's the original engine come under V8????

              Bottom line on engines? (But probably not the final word...........)

              ANY engine in a Stag is better than having a Stag abandoned or forgotten like the ones in this thread: http://stagownersclub.mywowbb.com/forum1/7606.html

                  agreed Dave.

                  I drove mine for an hour last week. It had been untouched for at least 2 or 3 months. A spin over to get the oil pressure up, it fired into life first time and running really well. My head tells me to sell, the rest of me wants to keep it...

                  The exhaust note is better on the TV8 as well!

                        Can anyone suggest some reading or any thread on a Chevy engine/box conversion.

                        I really like the bonnet bulge on a GT6 and the one on the TR4/5 has it been done on a Stag? if so what engine conversion requires this bulge.Will appreciate the info.
