Choke light on when heat fan is off

hi to the all knowing
eventually getting some miles on her
all good apart from a few electrical problems
the main gremlin at the mo is when I turn the heating fan off the choke light comes on????
Any ideas

Couldn't be sure, but often bad earths can cause faults like this.

As the heater fan switch and choke are right next to each other I would suspect a bare wire is shorting between the two. It's going to be a pain to investigate as there is no room to even get a finger in!
you might be able to see the wires by removing the passenger side Footwell light and peeking in the hole.

Or maybe you just need to rename the choke light to something more appropriate!!
