I'm hoping that somebody out there can offer guidance.
I'm trying to replace the ignition switch and need to remove the cable cover on the steering column. To get to this I need to remove the adjustment clamp, I've taken the Nyloc off and the manual says that the clamp bolt should pull straight out.
So far, although the clamp bolt is loose it refuses to come out (despite gentle tapping and regardless of my turning the air blue). I can see a small roll pin running through the clamp in the same axis as the column that is close to the clamp bolt line. Do I need to remove the roll pin or is a (much) bigger hammer in order.
