has anyone claimed under the RH windscreen cover recently, I am trying now and hitting a couple of potential issues, I understand that the policy is underwritten by ERS who outsource to National Windscreens, I needed to take the stag to them to get them to look at it which was no issue, then the oohhh and rrrrr's started and after a week (I am not really in a hurry) it looks like they just don't want to touch it??

I have been in touch with RH who are being very helpful so no issues there but if I need to find another fitter I am not sure where to start?

try windscreen tech may do insurance work what area are you in
theses guys can easily do stag screen and chrome

Hi Si, don't know where you are, but contact Chris Liles, have a look in the members list for his details , he may be able to put you right as he had a screen fitted in the last couple of years he is Norwich based.

I went through my insurers, Classic Line, who allowed me to use the specialist that EJ Wards use for fitting screens, the only thing was that I had to pay £125 excess instead of the £100. I just sent them the quote for the work and there was no argument from my insurers they just let me go ahead and reimbursed me the balance on receipt of the invoice.

I had mine done via RH a couple of years ago.

Autoglass didn't want to know.
Used Ultimate Windscreens (specialist on Stags) very good.

Had to pay more excess because I used a specialist company, thought that a bit strong because RH are a specialist insurer. But I am quite happy with RH as an insurer.

National windscreens seem to have had a change of heart overnight and are all over it now. It's booked in so let's hope all goes to plan 😀
