    Any tricks for subframe bolts?

    About to re-install the rear suspension. It looks like it will take at least three hands to get the front bolts into that hole in the box and line up into the arm mounts. Any tricks for that as I work by myself. I assume I just hang it from the diff carrier supporting it with a jack, but inaccessible bolts one can't reach looks like a pain.
    I have not pulled the bolts and washers out, but I am guessing they need some sort of rust and weather protection inside the box section. That is the last bit on the back half of the car I have not addressed.

    When I've done mine I jack the subframe up and bush and bolt up the rear mounts until they are a firm fit. Raise the subframe at the front so the bushes are touching the floor pan and use a screwdriver or other 'podger' through the bush to align with the bolt hole and tighten up the jack so the frame doesn't shift. If you have aligned accurately the bolt will just drop through from above..
    Spray the washer and base of the box section with zinc based primer then apply a sealer before placing the bolt and washer through. I used black silicone sealant.

      I'll be giving it a go in the morning. Everything is now ready. Just got my order for the front outriggers, so I can weld that up too. Get all this back in and then time to take on the front. I might to drive this thing eventually.

        Was not as hard as I expected. A bit scary, but went in. Just cleaning up the details now.

          Obviously too late to help tvrgeek, but for others - I leave the bolts in place in the body so i can guide them into the bushes before jacking fully up to the body. They usually have remnants of sealant on them, so they won't drop right through by themselves as you jack up the last inch or so, but at least they are started, so you just have to push them down.
