Hi this is my first post on this forum. I've recently bought an emerald green Stag and dont have much history on it. I want to find out which dealership sold the car new and who were the owners over the years. Can anyone give me some advice on how I might go about finding this information. I've been approached by Corgi who want to make a scale model of my car but need a bit of history to give some added interest.

A good start is to obtain a heritage certificate from https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk...e-certificates .This will show the destination dealer (though this is not mecessarily the dealer who sold it). DVLA used to supply name & address details on request, but sadly no longer because of GDPR (privacy regulations), unless you can make a case for why you need the data.

You can get an mot history from the .gov site and as you have the log book, you should be able to identify the station location, check that on the web site.
