Fitment of gauge in air ball socket

    Hi All

I never use the air ball vent in the dashboard and have the heater either blowing onto the screen to demist or down into the footwells.

I am considering removing the ball vent on the drivers side and replacing it with an additional gauge or clock. Has anyone else already done this?

    Regards

    Bruce

      Hi David

yes I am looking to put a clock there as well. Your car dash looks great. Do you recall what size clock it was and where you bought it from?

      thanks

        Hi Dave

I have realised that you have used the outer casing of the air vent as an adaptor into which the clock fits. Clever.

I dragged out the spare dashboard from the attic and found that it still had the original clock fitted. After a fit of cutting and fettling the clock now fits the ball vent housing. Just need to fit it all to the car and install a suitable electrical feed for the clock and it's associated light

        Regards

I had my AFR gauge ther for a while but have now put it back to an air vent, as mentioned just knock out the centre part and fit a gauge in the outer surround.

                  Morning All

Can any of you advise from where to obtain a bulb holder suitable for fitment to the Kleinze clock. It needs to be the type than pushed into the back of the clock rather than the twist and lock type.

                  Regards
