word of caution if coating, the steering shaft dent is not in the correct place so I have had to have a small steering shaft and the engine has been raised by about 1/4" to get the clearance.
so if you are going to coat them make sure a new dent is hammered in first
Good point either way but I’m assuming that’s right hand drive? Anyone fitted these to a left hand drive?
Rimmer info says yes, except a/c versions, this came in about a year ago, not sure if the design has changed or they just worked out that it will fit non A/C cars.
Will fit RHD and all LHD cars without A/C -the LH manifold goes forward, so will clear steering shaft, but not A/C pipework. The RH manifold goes rearwards toward the oil filter bowl, alleviating the need to relocate the alternator. The RH manifold can be identified by a 'U' cut in the flange plate - this is for the dipstick.
Having bought mine ex-works (the factory is 10 miles up the M5), I found them extremely willing to discuss, so it may be worth phoning them directly regarding fitment queries.

Thanks, I was looking for that web page.. could not find it.. Anyway, Its done and dusted and in shipping, but I will call them to see if any mods do need to be done.. hopefully not too much.
Either way I'll report back in a few months when I fit them!

For info, Terry, I had my tubular manifold faces 'planed' by a machine shop, as they weren't completely flat where they meet the head. Maybe worth checking for flatness when you receive them, so that they don't cause problems later.
