Hi everyone, have removed the rad as had a pin hole. I’ve seen the 4 core updated rad advertised. Are these much better? I have a kenlowe fan but I’m not sure if the 4 core is worth the extra money? Presume the 4. Ore would fit ok too.
I would just the tony hart supergill I fist bought a 4 core uprated from ebay it was leaking.
now the cooling is excellent below half on the gauge

I think the original mk1 radiators were 4 row anyway, they went for the not so good but cheaper 3 row later.
I tried one of the so called uprated 4 row radiators (all 4 rows are in a line, not staggered like the original Stag radiators), and I couldn't tell the difference between the new one and the 3 row one I removed. The 4 row was also significantly thicker and took quite a lot of fitting.
Fortunately I didn't return the old one as the exchange deposit was only about £30, and later re used it in my second Stag where it is still performing well.
