Answer... That supid Oil pressure switch... How on earth are you meant to get at it... is there a special tool? I can't seem to reach it from below or get a spanner or it or rotate it.
My story begins as follows:
So, I am thinking why would I want to put the T piece in the engine? Surely it makes sense to use the exisiting pipe the goes from the engine and spiggot to bring it up higher and out the way, then connect the pipe to the Tpiece there.
So my question is:
The spiggot for the oil pressure guage seems to be different to the one supplied with the T-Piece by Paddocks... its has an olive.. but I think this works to my advantage as its easier to make it seal.

My story begins as follows:
- First the previous owner removed the switch and cut the wire short then hid it
- Next they fitted an oil pressure guage
- I wanted to re-fit the switch in addition to the guage - no bad thing...
- First I restored the cable - very difficult but done
- No light on the cluster
traced to blown brake bias bulb... changed oil light now works on cluster
- Now to fit the T-piece with switch and guage connector - OMG riddiculously hard

So, I am thinking why would I want to put the T piece in the engine? Surely it makes sense to use the exisiting pipe the goes from the engine and spiggot to bring it up higher and out the way, then connect the pipe to the Tpiece there.
So my question is:
- Is this possible or will it not work?
- The pipe for the guage is very narrow will that affect the switch operation?
The spiggot for the oil pressure guage seems to be different to the one supplied with the T-Piece by Paddocks... its has an olive.. but I think this works to my advantage as its easier to make it seal.
