Twisted roof frame

Hi All. I apologise for touching on an old topic but I can't find what I am looking for in the old topics.My soft top frame is twisted at various points but not by very much. When the soft top is up you would believe all is square but when stowing it away is very difficult to get the catches on when folded. One catch was broken at the rivet and I think it all got twisted by forcing the hood out of storage position. I did see some photographs, I believe on an old SOC post, showing bent and straight metalwork which I cannot now find. Can anybody please help as I don't think they need much straightening to bring right, particularly the fishhook shaped parts.

Have you looked in the Technical Section under Body & Interior? There are several threads there regarding hoods.

Thanks Dave. Not the one I had seen previously which may not have been in SOC but certainly very useful thanks. i'm new to this so will eventually find my way around the forums and topics.

Bent hinge parts photos were recently posted on triumph stag fan club on Facebook by a hood repairer. Mr. C Spain aka stag Weber.

Thanks all for your input. Frame considerably straighter now and a much better fit, although not perfect. Catches both now clipping in and fewer gaps and daylight showing.
