Hard to believe.... it's November, shops are getting ready for Xmas and I've just done a 60m round trip to the Bristol Restoration Show, top down all the way in warm sunshine.
Yes! Out at 7.00 am this morning, top down. Played golf in shirt sleeves all morning. Just putthe Stagback in the garage after a trip to the coast this afternoon - adding more CO2 to the atmosphere to warm it up even further. Great!

Me too for the last three days. Sorry about you guys who have wrapped up your Stag in cotton wool for the next six months just to please she who must be obeyed!
Had a jolly to white Waltham air field today just to have a look ,several classics in the carpark and on the strip. Then found a great long railway bridge with traffic lights which were red .
When they went green the cars behind got a great big dose of 5500rpm .
Cannon lane, Maidenhead if anyone wants to try it.

I know it well! FYI there's a red Mk 1 (not mine but a SOC member's) that lives just off the new mini roundabout that's gone insouth ofthe motorway bridge at the A4 end.
Forcool reverb sounds, have you ever tried acceleratng hard up Castle Hill (the A4) in Maidenhead towards Reading? There's a nice combination of retaining banks and brick walls which really gets the echo going!
Just watch out for the Gatso on the other side of the traffic lights at the All Saints Avenue crossraods . . .
Nice to see other Staggers are taking this alleged climate change in their stride. In all the hysterical claims by the tree huggers none has so far explained the mechanics of CO2 heating. Does anyone know the percetage CO2 in the atmosphere? Just to move things on, it's about 0.7 %. All you see in the media are squeals about 20, 30, 50% increase's in levels. Der, so what? how does it work, is it in fact a manmade situation? Global warming was only invented in the mid 80's by a bloke musing "what if?".
The climate has always changed. Around 1200, Europe was warmer than it is now, who got the blame for that?
400 years ago, we had a mini ice age when winter fairs were held on the Thames. Why is it not possible to be still coming out of that back to the postion that pertained 400 fears previously? Could it not be that in the great scheme of things we have an 800 year climate cycle?

Hi Dave,
Yep, just going over to Stagdad's for a spin so I should contribute something today
As for the bloke you mention, is that the same one who told us a few years ago that we were about to enter a new ice age and that we'd have to move to Spain?
I thought it was all due to cows farting. They've obviously only learned to do that in recent times or it would have caused a problem many years ago? :?
The best bit about this weather is the longer it lasts the longer it will be before the the Stag (or any other car) killing salt spreaders come out and me being sad and withdrawn because I can't drive my car each weekend!
Why did I choose this fantastically sunny weekend to rip all my inlet to pieces! Started doing my injection conversion as its supposed to be winter! :X- Alan
