I use it every service in my daily driver which has a 12000 mile interval, but don't on the Stag because of changing the oil every 3000. If the car was laid up for a prolonged period I probably would.
As Wilf says, unlikely your engine needs it, or it will be of any real benefit, low mileage & rebuilt 5k ago with oil changes roughly every 500 miles. Just get the engine nice and hot before you change it - which I am sure you do anyway - any slight crud will be washed out with the old oil. Also if not been used before there is always the risk of the extra detergents in the flushing oil dislodging something that has been happily stuck somewhere, especially if you have never used it before.
