    Practical Classics latest issue

The latest PC plopped onto the mat this morning. Some very positive coverage of our car in several places.

There’s also an article in this weeks Autocar magazine about buying a Stag, quite positive and photos based on a Worcestershire members Saffron Stag.

Couple of interesting mistakes though. Autocar saying the Rover 3.5 V8 is heavier (it’s about 80kg lighted iirc) and PC quoting 127 bhp otherwise pretty good coverage I think.

        Afternoon all,

March Classic Car Mart also has a "Stag v Merc SL" feature.
I think the "Rest of The World" (i.e. non-Stag owners) now recognise the Stag for what it is:- a comfortable, practical tourer, which after any engine woes (in the majority of cases!) have been banished, is a reliable
prospect to take on. (Low Club insurance, several good specialists, Road Tax free etc.)
And the Merc SL prices have increased quite steeply over the last couple of years......and the Stag's exhaust note wins every time !

        Neil.
