little green light on centre console

I have had my stag for 5 years now and its just come back today from a full respray I have just noticed that there is a green light now working on the centre console to the drivers side of the ash tray. I have never noticed this before and sure is was not glowing like it now is help? any ideas

Heated rear screen warning light. Push the switch (just above the light) back in. These controls are all described in the owner's handbook.

How about posting some pictures of the resprayed Stag.

When I was updating my wiring, and replacing much of it, I decided that I would run a wire from the electric fan to this not used switch,then across to the bulb, so that I could turn the fan off, or on, depending on the overall air temperature, as here in Canada it can get really warm in the summer months.So light on,fan is running,light off fan is not.works great if in a major traffic snarl up.
