Front seat question

I'm wondering if the front seats on the Stag are bolted directly on the carpet. I recall on an L reg Toledo we had, which had a similar rail system as the Stag, the seats sat on thick washers so the rails wouldn't interfere with the carpet when the seat were adjusted back and forward. I don't recall my running Stag having them so I used a handful of regular washer stacked together. Stag no. 2 doesn't have any washers either.. Did the Stag use a thick washer if at all?

See attached pic of washer. They are no longer available from Rimmers but can be easily made or made up from standard 10mm washers. Dimensions are 20mm o/d, 10mm i/d, 5mm thick

Thx. are they about 1/4" in thickness do u recall. I have a few old cylinder head bolt washers which could be repurposed

1/4" would be ok. They are only there as a spacer between rail and floor for the carpet thickness.

I made some out of Aluminum bar suitably drilled with the front ones longer to lift the from of the seat for more thigh support.

I did the same thing,but used plastic bar,the idea was so it didnt mark the carpet

doesnt turning that handle on the front of the seat give u enough angle. just a thought.
