Some Advice please

1) on the vinyl panel that covers the soft top there is a fine mist of what I assume is 2k overspray from sometime in the cars past. Any top tips on what it can be removed with, it’s been on there for at least 15 years

2) Im cleaning the engine, in regard to the area directly below the carbs on the top of the block if I spray this area with a cleaning product, how do I wash it out, does liquid run naturally off this area in a certain direction or am I best to Jack the car up in a certain way to help the run off?

I was never able to find anything here State side to remove overspray on my cover. My cover was OK but sun bleached as well. I resprayed it with a vinyl spray paint and it looks good now.

The engine is inclined back so water in the vee gathers near the coil end. I have a slight leak in the vee and that;s where it gathers. When it fills up, it runs down the back of the engine.
