    Correct location of ballast resistor for Mk1

    I was browsing Rimmers website on coils and noticed an illustration where the ballast resistor is attached to the coil. My Stag's ballast resistor is attached to the bulk head. Where should the resistor go?

    It uses one of the bolts used to fix the coil to the inlet manifold. Usually the one nearest the distributor.

      I have seen some m1 stags with the BR attached to the bulkhead

          Mine is on the bulkhead- probably not as it left the factory
          Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

            Generally moved to the bulkhead away from the heat following ignition issues after a long run
