Always have new bolts nuts & washers. That way the cutting & drilling doesn’t worry you & you don’t end up fighting to release anything. Having said that I once struggled to fit new rubber trailing arm bushes... they wouldn’t go in. Ended up fitting polybushes which wasn’t the plan. Maybe the rubber was over size. Couldn’t tell as the originals were drilled out!
