it would do the job ok, much the same as the twin carb motor cycle cables from my younger years, the only down side is they pull together, but because the 2 cable joint are often only slip joints in a block and are not fixed they dont push as cables. so you may need to fit return springs on both choke levers, this then makes the pull much stiffer, better to just use 2 new cycle cables and fit to the original nob and rod

I thought both choke levers already had return springs - Mine does?
