    Boot board support brackets

Hi all , the two support brackets located on the rear bulkhead of my car have dropped into the boot of my car near the petrol tank , I can see under the soft top storage well two square holes for each bracket , I can’t see any other way of relocating these is to weld which I can’t do myself, is welding the way these are fixed to rear bulkhead ? Thx Graham

One of mine fell off too. I can only assume they were welded in. the square hole was probably used as a guide to keep the brackets square

You could try metal glue,to fix the brackets

you could also use riv nuts, if you dont want to buy a full kit just get the side you need and set them with a nut bolt and washer

Thought the square hole was for the securing clips.

perhaps the brackets could be pop riveted back on.

small tack welds would be sufficient though. Another member might be able to do that after the lockdown....whereabouts are you graham?
